UNIT III FINITE VOLUME METHOD 15
Diffusion problems – explicit and implicit time integration; Convection-diffusion problems
– properties of discretisation schemes, central, upwind, hybrid, QUICK schemes;
Solution of discretised equations.
UNIT IV FLOW FIELD COMPUTATION 6
Pressure velocity coupling, staggered grid, SIMPLE algorithm, PISO algorithm for steady
and unsteady flows
UNIT V GRID GENERATION 6
